1. Pink Autumn sunrises ☀️ Making the most of the warmer mornings with early walks to take in these colourful skies, plus, it’s so calm + peaceful at this time of day. The sunsets have been equally as beautiful 🌞

2. Book: The monk who sold his Ferrari. I’m listening to it on @audible_au Honestly, I was hooked within 10 minutes! The book is about dharma (life purpose) and finding out what’s really important to your spiritual self rather than material possessions. I’m half way through and it’s up there with my favourite books! 📚

3. Establishing a new movement routine. I’ve been walking daily for 30-45 minutes + practicing morning yoga. I use the @bodymindlifeonline app because it has yoga (yin with @theyinspace ), Pilates, fitness and mindfulness. I’ve setup a yoga space in my studio and it’s my quiet time before the day starts. It’s been a game changer for my well-being, creativity, mindset and energy levels. You have to discover what works best for you in terms of enjoyment + time and I’m loving the slower pace right now ✨

Hi angels, I’ve been a little MIA lately because Hi angels, I’ve been a little MIA lately because I’ve had some big beautiful life changes ✨

Firstly, I’m no longer taking on new brand clients and I’ve just wrapped up my last projects. I’ve loved creating wellness brands over the past 2.5 years but after some soul searching last year (spiritual awakenings will change your life!) I knew 2022 was time for a big change⚡️ If you’re a current client of mine, I’m still here to help with any questions/design support that you need so please reach out 💌 Thank you to all my clients over the past few years for all your trust + support 🙏🏽

When creating my vision board this year, I filled it with images of adventures, boho clothing, women supporting women, and homewares, however, I didn’t expect to score a gig that encompasses all of those things! 😳 I knew I wanted to be part of a team, to inject my creativity into something big and I set to work manifesting✨

Fast forward to now and I’m excited to share I’ve joined The Holiday Collective group of brands as their Senior Graphic Designer for E-Commerce 👩🏼‍💻💃🏼

A little while back I changed my Instagram handle from Bec_Evans_Design to Bec_Evans_Creative because over the past 12 months my services have grown beyond just design and branding ✍🏼 But also, my creativity extends way beyond my business - it’s weaved into everything I do ✨

For the past few years I’ve been creating visual brand identities for passionate wellness businesses, and that’s still my core offering 🌿

But here are some other rad things I now do that I don’t really advertise!

✦  I create user generated content for wellness and lifestyle brands. I fell into this and it lights me up! I love the creativity of shooting branded content in my own way 📸

✦  I work with other aligned wellness and lifestyle businesses to create content and share brands that I truly love 🌿

✦  I help a select few wellness businesses with their social media. With a background in marketing management, I love strategy and creative content creation 📱

What I’m currently doing to stay healthy and to What I’m currently doing to stay healthy and to boost my immune system 🌿

I’d like to preface by saying regardless of choice, immunity is important. I’m not a health professional, this is just what I’ve been recommended by health professionals:

NUTRITION
We’ve really upped our veggie intake to get in as many vitamins and minerals as we can. Wash all your fruit and veg and avoid processed foods that lower your vibration and immunity 🥦

SUNLIGHT
Sunlight is one of the primary ways that your body makes Vitamin D which is vital for a healthy body and immune system☀️

VITAMIN D
I take liquid Vitamin D syringes monthly. Having great levels of vitamin D helps keep your immune system healthy and may protect against respiratory illnesses 🦠 

NAC
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) has antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and immune modulating characteristics that may be beneficial in the prevention and treatment of the spicy cough 💊

OTHER SUPPLEMENTS
I take a multivitamin with botanicals, liquid ashwaganda, medical CBD, B group, vitamin C, and magnesium (all practitioner brands). I highly recommend seeing an Integrative GP! 🙌🏽

MOVEMENT
Physical activity may help flush bacteria out of your lungs and airways. This may reduce your chance of getting a cold, flu, or other illness. I’m walking daily for about 40 mins, I do 4x strength sessions per week + yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ 

HYDRATION
Hydration helps your immune system to run smoothly. I use a recycled 1L glass water bottle (avoid plastics if you can) and it makes it easy to count my litres 💦

NATURE
Being in nature makes you feel better emotionally, helps with physical wellbeing, reduces blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones 🌿

BREATH
In times of stress and fear, we can breathe more shallow. Long periods of shallow breathing can make the body susceptible to contracting acute illnesses, aggravating pre-existing medical conditions, and prolonging healing times. If it helps, set a reminder on your phone hourly to take some slow, deep breaths 😌

Lastly: get proper rest, drink green tea, journal, stay away from energy vampires and stress, and have fun! 🤩
